The Bistro at Hillside Winery, Naramata Bench, British Columbia Canada

Tonight’s the night where a random Taxi arrived at our Inn at precisely 5:15pm to whisk us away to a special evening out dinner at The Bistro at Hillside Winery.

The wife’s look of amazement as the town car parked out front complete with chauffeur stood by to greet and welcome us aboard.

Less than 10 minutes later we arrived at our dinning destination with a wave of the white gloved hand by the driver towards the old grainery turned winery with an attached bistro.

We agreed when disembarking on a time he shall return to swoop us from this amazing location to drive our merrily selves back to our lovely accommodation at Therapy Vineyards.

Inside the establishment were well placed tables adorned with white table cloths, napkins and small plates.

We sat in view of the closed second section down a short flight of stairs and facing the massive middle of the room fireplace already stoked and spewing warmth for all.

We ordered a tapas style shared plate dinner and informed it to be our 11th anniversary!

Deliciously superb share-plate tapas-styled dinner paired with a recommended Hillside Winery 2015 Gamay Noir, topped off with a petite four-square dessert and a fine port.

Oh yea everything we ate 100% Gluten-free Celiac-friendly.

Thanks to the awesome chefs for their dedication in producing the Celiac-friendly meal and to the our server for her diligence at being respectful, helpful and patient with our slow dining style.

We were nearly the last table to depart just before closing at 9pm. Upon our departure we were provided with a special treat by the bistro wrapped in tissue paper and a wine bottle bag.

A note reading thank you for spending your evening with us, enjoy your anniversary week and many more to come.

We smiled, thanked everyone in sight and walked giddy and smiling all the down to the parking lot where a white gloved chauffeur awaited us for the return trip to the Inn.
