Mid-December 2020 Report from Central Alberta

Hello Friends of the Internet …

Have you wondered, where have they been ?

To be quite frank we’ve taken a good couple of weeks off to reassess our blog, the volumes of drafts that we have on hand which require editing, sprucing up and of course those nice finishing touches before they can be released into the wild of the internet.

Also we’ve been working on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck bringing in new accessories and keeping ourselves busy away from the computer. It seems every time we get near a computer we begin reading all about the nasty COVID virus, our disruptive Alberta Premier, the lack of leadership, the lack of support and the continuing lack of just getting on with locking this province down to drastically reduce the curve.

We’ve even gone to some lengths to write a couple of COVID-19 rants and after further review realize this is not the type of image we want to portray here on Distracted in Alberta.

Let’s be clear, in our collective opinions we have a message for which we would like to express and share with all of you about COVID-19;

BE PROACTIVE

BE MINDFUL

BE PATIENT

PROTECT YOURSELF

BE RESPECTFUL of OTHERS

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER !!

We suppose what hurts most to this group of writers is learning about our friends and colleagues whom are struggling through the day to day realites of living with and amongst COVID-19.

There have been many losses throughout the past 12-months, and many deaths across the world. This has literally become the 21st century plague in which it is diminishing our worldwide population.

We here at Distracted in Alberta: James, Aaron and Shauna hope you and your family the safest of journeys throughout these restricted days in the province of Alberta, throughout all territories and provinces in Canada and to our friends, family and loved ones around the world.

We wish you all the best during the Holiday Season and hope for the best in the upcoming weeks ahead. Be strong, stay safe and see you all in the nearest of futures.

Sincerely,

James, Aaron and Shauna

COVID-19 does not discriminate and neither should you.
