Looking back now some 15-years ago, the urge to get on with it and begin travelling in my mid-twenties came from a significant moment in my life. It was the day I heard my mother’s voice tell me my father unexpectantly passed away. He was in his early fifties. This unfavorable moment transformed how, I viewed my current life and set a fire beneath me, to get out of here and EXPLORE out there!
From that moment of realization onward, my goal was to have a plane ticket in one hand, and a camera in the other. As soon as I had enough funds and gumption, I bought a plane ticket departing my then, home country of America bound for Australia, to live.
Along the way, I picked up the knack for freelance writing and combined this with my obsession for photography to freelance for publications and websites. Over the years, I have lived in 9-countries, traveled to many others and started my own blog.
Recently, a friend asked why I had not written a book about my travel stories? As many of them are pretty funny. So, this weekend, I’ve decided to start sharing some of those stories from my most recent trip to Ireland. And see where it leads me to in the future…
And I hope you enjoy reading what I have experienced along the way.
